Bible Society \u2013 Lebanon proudly launched its Book of Life Leadership Development program in October 2025, welcoming over 100 participants in a dynamic hybrid format. This flagship initiative is designed to deepen participants\u2019 understanding of Scripture while equipping them with essential leadership skills. Over 10 months, participants will engage with four comprehensive modules: Introduction to the Bible, Old Testament, New Testament, and Biblical Leadership, guided by professional instructors and facilitators from the Bible Society and Biblical Federation.<\/p>\n
Following the successful completion of Module 1 – Introduction to the Bible, expertly facilitated by Dr. Maryse Saghbini, participants progressed to Module 2 – Old Testament, which commenced on 13 January 2026. This module was led by Dr. Issa Diab, who provided rich insights into the history, themes, and teachings of the Old Testament, helping participants connect ancient wisdom with contemporary challenges. “I always thought the Old Testament was complicated,\u201d shared one participant, \u201cbut the sessions made it clear and surprisingly exciting. I wish we had more time to explore it even deeper.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Continuing this journey, Module 3 – New Testament began on 23 March 2026, facilitated by Sr. Dr. Bassima El Khoury. This hybrid module explores the life and teachings of Christ, the apostolic writings, and their practical application in modern leadership contexts, encouraging participants to grow both spiritually and professionally.<\/p>\n Other participants shared how the program shaped them personally:<\/p>\n “I loved following along, even though I wasn\u2019t very familiar with religious teachings. It made me feel closer to the Word.”<\/em><\/p>\n “Some sessions were challenging, especially the historical ones, but they were eye-opening and really prepared me for the next modules.”<\/em><\/p>\n The Book of Life Leadership Development program exemplifies Bible Society\u2019s commitment to fostering a new generation of biblically-literate and spiritually grounded leaders.
