The “Bible Day” started at 3:00 PM with the children program; the children interacted and enjoyed the magical tricks and the amusing performance. The youth program followed at 4:30 PM. Around 150 teenagers attended and valued the deep Christian messages, presented in a humorous way by our own Creative Programs Implementor, Wissam Rajha.
At 6:30, Director of the Bible Society in Iraq, Nabil Omeish, introduced Fr. Pierre Najem, who presented his lecture on the theme of “Mercy in the Bible,” with the presence of our host, Archbishop Bashar Warda, and Archbishop Nicodimus Daoud, Syriac Orthodox Diocese of Mosul. Also present were a handful of priests and nuns from the Chaldean Church.

Archbishop Warda at the end of the gathering thanked Fr. Najem for the hope that his message carried to the audience, and thanked the Bible Society team for their hard work in serving the Church in Iraq during these difficult times.
