Bible Society Lebanon conducted an Initial Adult Trauma Healing equipping session performed by Lebanese Master Facilitators on 25-26-27 October 2018 for 20 participants from diverse churches and organizations in Lebanon.

The 3-days training covered the five core lessons which will later assist the facilitators to conduct their own healing groups with individuals who have been through traumatic events, domestic abuse, addiction or any kind of challenges.

The sessions included interesting activities, plays, and games. The participants also shared heartwarming experiences throughout the sessions.

The training’s feedback was positive and encouraging, especially after the pain to the cross ceremony where two of the participants shared how this lesson helped them to feel loved and accepted.

At the end of the training, all participants received the certification of “Apprentice Facilitators” which is the level of the program.

The Bible Society’s vision is to holistically meet the needs of communities through the transforming Word of God. As a Christian inter-confessional, ecumenical, non-profit organization, it works to spread the Holy Bible’s message and culture to all generations through translating, publishing, and distributing the Scriptures using visual, audio-visual, readable, and digital formats, encouraging people to read and engage with God’s Word, advocating the Bible cause to uphold human dignity, and partnering with all Churches and Christian institutions.
