To create Biblical and Christian content relevant and contextual to people’s needs in a timely, creative, and effective format in Arabic and other Church languages (Syriac, Armenian, Assyrian …).
This Institute seeks to produce an average of one Bible-based publication per month for dissemination throughout the Arab World (Middle East and North Africa). The Bible Society in Lebanon is one of two Bible Societies that publish Scriptures in the Arabic language for the 350 million Arabic speakers in the world. In addition, it publishes Scriptures in Western Armenian, Modern Syriac, and Kurdish Surani languages to meet the ever-growing need to read and understand God’s word in the heart language. New and creative Scriptural materials targeting new generations are required for effective Bible engagement and interaction and to support the ongoing programs with literature.
