V. Rev. Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian, born in Aleppo, Syria, was admitted to the Armenian Theological Seminary of the Holy See of Cilicia in 2014.
Upon graduation, he chose the path of a celibate priest, becoming a member of the Cilician Brotherhood of the Armenian Orthodox Church.
Fr. Aprahamian earned his BA degree from the Aleppo Institute of Banking and later pursued a BA in Theology at the Armenian Theological Seminary, completing it in 2019. He was appointed as the Assistant to His Holiness Catholicos Aram I.
Fr. Sarkis Aprahamian served as an editorial member of the HASK official monthly periodical of the Catholicosate from 2019 to 2022. Subsequently, he took on the role of assistant to the director of the Information and Communication Department (2021-2022). Since 2023, he has been the officer of the Middle Eastern section of the Ecumenical and Inter-religious Relations Department.
His Holiness Aram I assigned him as the representative of the Armenian Church on the Bible Society Board in 2022. He is currently a member of the Bible Society Lebanon Board.
