Book of Life Leadership Program Launching
Bible Society – Lebanon proudly launched its Book of Life Leadership Development program in October 2025, welcoming over 100 participants in a dynamic hybrid format. This flagship initiative is designed to deepen participants’ understanding of Scripture while equipping them with essential leadership skills. Over 10 months, participants will engage with four comprehensive modules: Introduction to the Bible, Old Testament, New Testament, and Biblical Leadership, guided by professional instructors and facilitators from the Bible Society and Biblical Federation.
Following the successful completion of Module 1 – Introduction to the Bible, expertly facilitated by Dr. Maryse Saghbini, participants progressed to Module 2 – Old Testament, which commenced on 13 January 2026. This module was led by Dr. Issa Diab, who provided rich insights into the history, themes, and teachings of the Old Testament, helping participants connect ancient wisdom with contemporary challenges. “I always thought the Old Testament was complicated,” shared one participant, “but the sessions made it clear and surprisingly exciting. I wish we had more time to explore it even deeper.”
Continuing this journey, Module 3 – New Testament began on 23 March 2026, facilitated by Sr. Dr. Bassima El Khoury. This hybrid module explores the life and teachings of Christ, the apostolic writings, and their practical application in modern leadership contexts, encouraging participants to grow both spiritually and professionally.

The Book of Life Leadership Development program exemplifies Bible Society’s commitment to fostering a new generation of biblically-literate and spiritually grounded leaders. Through interactive discussions, guided study, and expert mentorship, participants are not only enhancing their biblical knowledge but also learning to translate faith into impactful leadership in their communities.
