Bible Engagement Programs for Displaced Children

Bible Engagement Programs for Displaced Children – “Fratelli” Community

Bible Society creative team organized several Bible engagement programs for about 600 displaced children belonging to the Fratelli community, Rmeili, presenting the word of God in a way that is fun, interactive, and impactful, thereby helping children and youth experience biblical truths in a joyful and memorable way.

The programs included:

  • Puppet shows that bring Bible stories to life through color, creativity, and character.
  • Interactive magic tricks that capture attention and teach spiritual lessons in surprising ways.
  • Drama of the Bible and storytelling to explore biblical values through emotions, movements, and imagination.

Each session is centered around a simple Bible verse or passage, making it easier for children to understand and remember God’s word. One example is the story of the Good Samaritan and the verse “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Luke 10:27).

The goal is not only to teach Bible stories but to create a safe space where children feel loved, valued, and spiritually nurtured, even in the midst of displacement and uncertainty.

The Bible Society’s mission is to spread the Holy Bible’s message and culture to all generations through translating, publishing, and distributing the Scriptures using visual, audio-visual, readable, and digital formats, encouraging people to read and engage with God’s word, advocating the Bible cause to uphold human dignity, and partnering with all Churches and Christian institutions.
