Spreading Light Across Lebanon – A Summer of Hope, Joy, and God’s Word!
This summer, the Bible Society reached deep into the heart of Lebanon, its villages, summer camps, and churches, offering programs that planted seeds of hope in the lives of children and youth. Through vibrant, Bible-based activities, we shared the message of God’s love with the next generation in powerful and creative ways.
From June to September, our team traveled across the country to conduct interactive programs that touched hundreds of young hearts. For children, we introduced joyful Bible-based activities, colorful puppet shows, storytelling, music, and dance, that made learning about God’s Word a delightful adventure. These events were hosted in schools, spiritual retreats, and community centers, offering children a space where they could laugh, learn, and connect deeply with biblical truths in a fun, safe environment. Each child received a relevant Scripture, designed to be both educational and spiritually enriching, so that the lessons would continue long after the event ended. Whether in a small mountain village or a bustling summer camp, these books became tools of discipleship, fostering deeper engagement with Scripture at home.
For youth and teens, we focused on Biblical Life Skills, teaching them leadership, teamwork, identity, and values rooted in the Bible. Through workshops, role-plays, games, and discussions, young participants explored what it meant to live with purpose, integrity, and faith in today’s world. Our team worked to empower them not just spiritually, but also emotionally and socially. In several spiritual retreats, young people were encouraged to build strong, supportive communities while reflecting on the example of biblical heroes. They left equipped to lead in their schools, churches, and families, with courage, wisdom, and the Word of God as their compass.
In total, we are proud to share that this summer we reached 1,500 children and 900 youth across Lebanon! This remarkable record is a testimony to God’s grace and to the power of His Word to transform lives.
Many of these programs were implemented in partnership with local churches and ministries, reinforcing the Bible Society’s mission to serve alongside the Body of Christ in Lebanon.
