Bible Society Lebanon Empowers Leaders, Teachers, and Faith Communities Through Transformative Bible-based Trainings
Over the summer, Bible Society Lebanon has hosted a series of enriching Bible-based programs aimed at nurturing spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and leadership skills among educators, faith community members, and youth leaders across Lebanon.
Healing and Supporting Through Trauma Training
On 21–22 July and 7–8 August, the teachers of Collège Patriarcal Rabwé participated in two transformative trainings on Healing the Wounds of Trauma. One session focused on teachers working with children, while the other addressed those serving teens. These Bible-based, interactive workshops provided practical tools to help students express themselves safely and to guide them with compassion. Beyond classroom techniques, the sessions offered teachers a safe space to reflect on their own experiences, fostering solidarity, trust, and hope. Facilitated by experienced Master Facilitators, the trainings were more than professional development; they were journeys of personal growth, healing, and faith.
Nurturing the Whole Person
On Saturday, 9 August, members of Mariamite Missionary Movement at St. Charbel, Bsalim, gathered in Kfarmashoun for a session emphasizing holistic well-being. The discussion highlighted that true health comes from caring for both spiritual and psychological dimensions. Participants explored how biblical faith, resilience, emotional balance, and mental clarity work together to enable purposeful, compassionate, and hope-filled living. The gathering reinforced the critical role faith communities play in guiding members toward holistic development, nurturing both soul and mind.
Leading with Love and Discipline
On Saturday, 27 September, Scout Leaders of Saint Joseph in Ghosta joined a session focused on Christian leadership grounded in love. Leaders were encouraged to combine discipline with compassion, understanding that young members absorb both instruction and example. By embodying God’s love in action, leaders can inspire responsibility, growth, and faith in their groups, leaving a lasting impact on the next generation.
Through these psychosocial support training programs, Bible Society is planting biblical values within a generation of emerging leaders.
